Really nice lens at a low price, but I did some measurements on a 1/3" CMOS camera: The horizontal field of view is 110° and the diagonal FOV is 140°. I have a (more expensive) true diagonally 180° lens, but I actually like this one better. 140° really is enough for me. Other than that: sharp in the corners en good colors. Ordered two pieces, Top product! But no real 170°
